Secure DNS Servers are mostly free DNS services from companies that help resolve your DNS (Domain Name System) queries through their network of redundant servers. If you don’t know what DNS is, it is a network service that allow your PC find names of websites online. Since computers only communicate in binary numbers, DNS servers translate those numbers into words like facebook.com so you don’t have to type binary numbers in order to go to facebook.com. Now, every PC has one or more DNS servers assigned to it once it is connected to the Internet. Some are secured while others are not. This article shows you a list of some secure DNS providers that you can use to protect yourself online.
